Coin stuck in Maytag Bravos Washer Quiet Series 300 Model #MVWB400VQ0.

Coin stuck in Maytag Bravos Washer Quiet Series 300 Model #MVWB400VQ0. I believe a coin is stuck in the pump of the washer. I have taken out the drum but was not able to find a coin. The noise will only happen when the drum is draining so it is fairly clear where the coin is. We had the same issue a few months ago and I called a tech to fix. I was wondering if this was something that I could fix this time around? Can I access the pump easily or any idea on how I can look for the coin if not stuck in the drum? And lastly, how does a coin even get through the drum into the pump?

It can be very frustrating when an object gets stuck in your washer and makes a lot of noise. While you are waiting for your expert answer, I did some research on the unit. At this time, I was unable to locate information that would be helpful in regards to your question. Some of these questions that are asked will need specific research and will be answered by an expert with-in two business days but usually sooner.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

I added an image below with the instructions and procedure of accessing and removing the drain pump.

NOTE: Be sure to drain the washer and disconnect the power cord from the power source before servicing.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.
