You could have a problem with the door latch assembly or a loose wiring connection. That link for a previous answer that Yadira B. posted in the above response discusses a similar problem on a dishwasher. If the dishwasher appears to be completely loosing electrical power, you can
shut off the house circuit breaker to disconnect electrical power
and check the wiring connections at the junction box as shown in the video provided in that previous answer.
If you find no problems with the wiring in the junction box, you can open the console and check the wiring connections on the door switch and the electronic control board (
with the house circuit breaker for the dishwasher still shut off
). Remove the screws from the inner door panel to release the console.
If you find no problems with the wiring connections or the door switch, then you may need to replace the electronic control board. I recommend that you have a service technician examine the dishwasher and complete that type of repair. You can schedule service through this link:
