LSC26905tt defrost sensor location

I am getting a defrost trouble code from the refrigerator. I am trying to find a diagram to show me where the defrost sensor is located. I took the panel out of the back of the freezer. Zip tied on the right side of the freezer coils is a device wraped in a foil tape. It has two wires, one brown, one blue. I cut the wires to this thing and when I test it with an ohm meter it is showing open. Any help is appreciated.

Caution:  Before attempting any repair, unplug the refrigerator from the wall first.  

From the description you give I suspect the 6615JB2002R controller is the problem.  The controller/fuse should show a circuit.  You say it test open which would indicate it is bad and needs to be replaced.  You can obtain this part from the following link:
