How to set Grains on Intellisoft Elite 420 series water softener

by Manage My Life Last activity date:

I had a plumber test my water. He said the results were 4 parts iron and a hardness of 30. How do a translate these numbers in order to enter the correct "Grains" on the water softener.

Thank you for your question. The information provided by the plumber needs to be programmed into the softener.  I located a

manual

that should fit your 420 series softener.  The instructions are on page 18.  If your water softener is different, reply back with the model number.  I believe this is the correct manual.  If you need further help let me know.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

I did some research for you but was not able to find a solution. Your expert will be able to help answer your question. It may take two business days for your expert to reply. I would like to suggest looking at:

[Kenmore Water]

for some troubleshooting information. To better help you, I would like to suggest adding the full model number. I do hope that everything works out.
