Check to make sure the oil is not over filled. If it the oil level is good, run the machine for about 10-15 minutes and see if the smoke clears up. If it does not then there is something going on in the engine. This could be a broke ring or a problem with the crankcase breather assembly. If the machine has sat for a while, this is sort of common and after a little bit of running, it should clear up.
