Having brown flakes appearing in my washer. Need to know how to get rid of it.

Lately i have been experiencing some problems with my washer. It is a top loader, model number 79629272900. In my washes I noticed black/brown flakes in my clothes. I ran the clean cycle twice and still notice the flakes. What can I do about this or what is causing this problem?

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your washer. There are many different things that can cause this brown substance to end up in your washer. First we need to determine what the brown substance is. Do the flakes look like rust or plastic pieces? Is the any missing paint from the tub? What do they feel like, greasy, oily, gritty, etc? Do the flakes crumble in your hand? This will give us a better idea of where they are coming from. One thing that I can suggest is to clean the washer out. You can use products like washer magic to remove any debris or buildup from inside the unit. Once this is done, then try to run the washer again, if the brown flake come back, then you will need to locate where they are coming from. If you could please let me know, I can then provide a more detailed answer. Thank you for using Manage My
