Description
6 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker gives you home cooked goodness without the hassle.
Sandra Lee 6 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker is the ultimate kitchen appliance for people who love home-cooked food but just don't have the time to spend hours in the kitchen slaving over a hot stove. With a convenient timer, you can set it to start and stop hours ahead of time, so you don't have to start the cooking process right before you walk out the door. Imagine coming home after a hard day's work and having dinner waiting for you!
6 Quart Programmable Slow Cooker has multiple settings to perfectly cook everything from soups and stews to rice and pasta casseroles, whole chickens and roasts, luscious desserts and fancy appetizers. The cooker is so 'smart' it turns itself off when the food is done and resets to the Warm setting to keep the food hot without over cooking it. The controls are touch activated for accuracy and ease of use.

Don't bother

I used this twice before returning it to the store. The black line around the lid is rubber and it kept the smell of my stew on it. I cleaned and cleaned it and could not get rid of the smell, so back it went. The nicest thing about the pot was the holder for the lid. Uneven cooking, too.

works well, but only if at least 1/2 full

doesn't get as hot as other slow cookers i have had in the past and can be uneven if more than half full. the "program" feature is to choose the initial temperature (high, low, warm) you set it at for 2,4,6,8, 10 hrs before it auto switches to warm:those are your only options. Nice and big!

I wish I had returned it

It cooks great but HATE the rubberband that has to hold the lid on so it stays tight. The lid does not sit properly so it has to be held down by this big rubberband. I did not use it until it was too late to return it and it is already no longer available so my problem is is this, where do you purchase new rubberbands to replace the one that is weak already if you can't even purchase this item already?

poor quality

I purchased this slow cooker 4 months ago. It was working fine, then without warning, for no reason, it stopped working. Lights blink and then go off and then nothing. I have a $15 slow cooker that's over a year old that is still working. My recommendation? Don't buy it. It's not worth it.

Excellent Crock for the Price

I love this crock. Removable crock makes it easy to clean. It is easy to program and cooks everytng perfectly. I especially like the attached lid holder and strap for easy transporting.

Great Crock Pot As Good as any other name brand.

I bought this a month ago on Sale for 28.99 and it was even less with my points, I had a 4qt crock pot that I liked but I wanted something more portable. I Really do like this crock pot's programmable feature and it's nice wide white pot. You can set it on high or low and then set the timer for 10, 8, 6 or 4 hours after it gets done cooking it automatically sets to warm, which I Iove because with the other one I own I would have to dip my stew out and let it set for an hour or more to eat it and sometimes I'd be starving. It comes with a sturdy rubber band to anchor the lid down if you want to take it with you. The only draw back I see is the lid holder it is there to hold the lid while you stir or whatever which is handy but according to the back instructions you are supposed to be able to turn it to wrap the cord around it when not in use, it won't turn the direction it says it will, it isn't really a big deal but it should work the way it says it will. very please overall

not worth one penny

This item does not cook the food thoroughly this was a huge disappointment, especially to carry the Sandra name I expected more. Don't waste your time I have purchased one from the ******** that has worked better.
