Love this bike

I have had this bike for over a year now and I absolutely love it.  It is so easy and comfortable to ride.  It shifts gears easily and everything has worked perfectly.  I ride mainly on a bike path but the gears are helpful for the hilly parts.

Because I am short (5'2") I did replace the seat post with one that does not have the shock absorber so I could put the seat all the way down.  I can now touch the ground (tip-toes) when sitting on the seat.  I tried several other bikes before purchasing this one and while this one is still a tad too high for me, it sits as low as any of the other ladies bikes that I tried. It is so easy to get on and off though because of the open frame design that the seat height hasn't been an issue.

I would highly recommend this bike to anyone that is taller than me - anyone much shorter than this might find the seat too high.  It rides smoothly and the design allows the rider to sit more upright than with a mountain bike.  It feels a bit like a cruiser but is more sporty and has 21 gears.  It's kind of like a cross between a cruiser and a mountain bike. I just love riding it!

Everyone in the family can enjoy this exercise together! Get fresh air plus talk about the things that happened during the week - get out every weekend! This is my bike and its a joy to ride..I did change out the seat for better comfort!

Looks Nice, but poor assembly

<p>Purchased this bike by using Sears' convenient online feature where you buy online and pick it up at the store. Bike was fully assembled when purchased. It worked well for a few weeks, but broke on us in the middle of a trip when we were several miles down the trail. The spokes on the back wheel were spinning with the chain, but the back wheel was no longer connected to the spokes somehow. I had to tow my wife all the way back by holding her hand. We got some interesting looks from people...</p> <p><br />Thankfully Sears took it back with no questions asked and gave us our money back.  </p>

Great bike for my daughter

<p>&lt;span&gt;My 5 foot tall daughter is able to ride this bike comfortably once I replaced the seat post with one that does not have the shock, so we could lower the seat as far as possible. As she grows, we'll put that post back, and this bike should last her a few years! She loves the color and style of the bike. The seat is cushiony and comfortable, and the frame is nice and low in the middle. It seems to be very good quailty. We were able to add a rack and basket attached to the rack. There is no place for a water bottle though -- that's the only negative. It was easy to assemble (or you can have the store do it). If you do buy in the store, check the on-line price. We were able to get a better deal once we asked for the on-line price. Then I ordered it on-line while in the store and was able to pick it up a few minutes later. &lt;/span&gt;</p>

Love it! I have total comfort and control. Yay! I'm 5'3.

<p>What can I say? I love the bike. The color, the way it rides is wonderful and for a 54 year old lady, I was always in total control which is one thing I worried about when shopping for a bike. Thanks Schwinn!</p>

The Schwinn Comfort Suburban is such a smooth ride!

<p>I hadn't ridden a bike in about 15 years, so I was a little worried. But now, I can rest assured that I made the right choice by buying this bike. It's lightwieght, looks great, and is such a smooth ride! I'm 5'3 so I had to adjust the seat to the lowest possible setting, and even then, I can just manage to reach the ground on tip toe. The seat is pretty comfortable also.&nbsp; I look forward to occassions where I can go for a ride. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.</p>

Fun, Comfortable, Great Bike!

<p>This bike is great! I have not owned a bike since I was a kid and this bike is comfortable, fun, and looks great. I have pretty short legs for my height (5'5) and this is one of the only 26&quot; bikes I tried out that was comfortable for my height. I would recommend this bike to anyone who wants a comfortable, classic bicycle!</p>
