Sony Cyber Shot is a Great Camera

My husband bought me this camera as a birthday present and I just love it. Its simple to use and has a bunch of neat features. I take it with me everywhere and its holding up nicely.

DSC-W510/R review

Charger seems to be not working at all. I could able to test the camera if it is working or not. Need to contact customer care support and find out.

Bad Choice

Bought the camera back in June of '11 and it has been nothing but a headache for my wife. She was rarely able to get any decent pictures. I would manage some nice pictures every now and then, but with great effort. Last week the thing stopped working. It won't turn on properly. My wife had put it away after taking some pictures and when I tried to turn it on the lens came out half-way and the "turn on and off again" message was displayed. No success with turning it on and off and internet searching has concluded that I either buy a new Sony battery (which cost half the price of the camera) or I have it fixed which again, cost about half the price of the camera. First and last Sony camera.

Love the camera, love the price.

We were going camping and my old camera had become unreliable. I put off buying one because there were so many choices. The day before we left I had to make a decision. I figured at the price, I couldn't go wrong. I have received numerous compliments on the camera and keep it in my backpack now, so I never get caught without a camera when I need one.
