InMotion Elliptical Trainer good if you have short legs only.

We enjoy our Stamina Products InMotion E1000 Elliptical Trainer. I am 5'5 and use it as an elliptical and a bike daily. My brother who is 6'4 cannot use it as an elliptical because the strokes are too small for his long legs, puts too much pressure on his knees. He enjoys it as a bike.

why sears.com

If you are only 5' -5'3'', I think the item is fine for you. If you are a lit bit tall, forget this one. The item is too small for me, I try to return. The procedure of return is really painful. The only reason for shipping in sears.com is craftsman. If not, forget it!!! Not kidding.

Would not buy!

|

The circular range of the foot pedals is much too small. So, you are really getting more of a pedaling motion rather than that of an elliptical machine. The arm on which the foot pads are attached should have been longer to create a better arc. The tension adjustment is not as good as I would like...not enough tension. Hate it!

Sturdy compact device for light exercise

|

A little heavier than I expected and not real easy to move around, but small and easy to store. Pretty sturdy and provides a good light workout. Takes some time to get used to the smaller range of motion and you may need to hold on to something for balance. Have to wear shoes on the device because of the ridges on the pedals.

I can do this!!!

|

I am 72.5 yrs old and I was told by my MD that I needed to exercise because my cholesterol was not high but higher than before. This has helped a lot because it is too hot to walk and health clubs are too expensive and I would have to make my self go to them.Very easy to use and I do it when I am looking at TV, on the computer or reading. I had a total rt knee replaced, arthritis and two back surgeries. It has made my knee feel better. Most exercise machine I do them for a little while and then stop, with this In Motion so far I have not .happen. I am a RN so I know how important the correct diet and exercise is to keep us healthy. I was afraid that it would put stress on my joints but it has not and I am elated that finally I found something that don't make my joints hurt and I like doing. The thing is that when I am busy looking at TV, or reading I am not aware of how long I am pedaling and I try to do it at lease 20 to 30 minutes every other day. I also notice that my skirts and pants are not as tight in the waist line. My goal is to tighten and loose 15 to 20 pounds. I may tighten up my abdomen but loosing 20 pounds is going to be a miracle but miracles happen everyday. Okay that is my story but I hope to return with good news to encourage someone else. Keep me in your prayers that I make it happen.

Little Machine is pretty nice.

|

This little thing works pretty well. You need to hold on to a chair, balancing is tricky. But you can do it while you watch tv and it doesn't take up very much space. You can even put it under your desk and take it to work. It is very sturdy and quite heavy. Very well made. We used to have a full sized elipitical machine, took up so much room, it was like the family room was the gym. It was unsightly and took up too much space. This is so much more practical. Under $100, it's a lot less than joining a gym and driving there. I will be canceling my membership, now that I have this.

Just What I Needed

|

It took me all of 5 minutes to assemble this machine and I jumped on it right away to work out. I have to say that I am totally loving it and am currently doing about 20,000 steps a day. It weighs about 30 lbs. so it's not flimsy but very durable. I put my shows on the tv, jump on my machine and the next thing I know, I'm sweating and an hour has passed. It's quiet so it doesn't disturb anyone and the best part is the size. I keep it downstairs but I could easily take it up into one of the bedrooms if I needed to workout there instead. One of the best purchases I have made; the weight is coming off and that's all I really wanted. I highly recommended it.
