Stanley 1600 PSI 1.4 GPM Electric Pressure Washer with High Pressure Variable Spray Gun and Clip-On Belt

This is a very well made electric pressure washer.  Just make sure you know what jobs your buying one for.  At this pressure rating, you can clean things, but it's not likely to strip as in preparation for painting.  It is great for cleaning and pressure washing off mold, etc. though; which is what I bought it for.  If you want to prep for painting (as in a house), you will likely want a 2500 psi pressure washer.  This one is really well built, is not very loud, and has an automatic pressure shut off, so that once the internal pressure is built up to 1600 psi, the thing automatically shuts off.  This is really handy when climbing up and down ladders, moving to a new location to continue washing, etc.  I used it to clean the mold of my stucco home exterior and it worked great.  The "turbo" 2200 psi head is not what I had hoped for though.  The best way I can describe it is like an unadjustable pulsating shower head (though at much higher pressure of course).  The normal head is adjustable though, from a wide spray to a fine stream.  I don't know if something is wrong with my particular detergent container head, but the water literally just dribbles out the end, making it useless.  All in all it did what I bought it for well though and I would certainly recommend it knowing the above info.

Price was right but we went through two units in less than two years. Used just for occasional car washing and motor cleaning. Cords get hot as well as motor. Run for 30 minutes non-stop and the unit burns up.
