I agree with Fred M with you might have a defrost drain clogged because I experience it myself with my refrigerator so I called Sears Service at 1-800-469-4663 and they fixed my leaking from under my crispers !

Hello Diana, it is always advisable to allow 24 hours of run time before adding food to a newly connected refrigerator. However you should see the freezer cooling okay within 12 hours.

What is causing my ice bin to freeze on my Viking D3? The ice cubes are freezing together it is like the water is running over into the bin.

Hi Jason and thanks for the question about your ice maker in the Viking refrigerator. Although there are several styles of ice makers in the D3, depending on model number, the most common reason for the problem you describe is due to a bad water inlet valve (allowing too much water into the ice maker), a bad ice mold or the internal board of the ice maker. It is strongly recommended to have an experienced technician come and diagnose the exact cause as this unit can be difficult due to the high technology of the components.
