My Kenmore Elite Fridge 795.72095.110 is not dispensing water. Water line was freezing up to the ice maker and now the water dispenser.Is there a fix?

Hello Katharine, I'm sorry you are having this problem with the water line freezing. Unfortunately, the model number listed is not showing to be a valid model and I cannot access any information. I can only provide some general information. In most cases, this problem will indicate the water valve is not seating all the way and allowing water to seep through, which will cause this problem. In this case, the water valve would need to be replaced. Some models will have a small heater attached to the water tube and if it fails could also cause this problem. In this case, the problem could be with the main control board or it could be a failed heater, which would not be repairable. Hello Shawna, based on the information listed, with frost accumulating apparently all over in the freezer, it indicates air is leaking into the freezer. Be sure to check the door seal, that it's making a good seal all the way around the door. Also make sure the door is being closed all the way. Another possibility could be the freezer door popping open when the fridge door is closed. When this type of problem (frost) occurs, the air flow to the fridge section will be reduced and it will cause the cooling problem in the fridge. In this case, you can turn the unit off for 24 hours and leave the freezer door open to allow it time to defrost. If the problem reoccurs, I recommend having it checked by a technician. Hello Diana, it is always advisable to allow 24 hours of run time before adding food to a newly connected refrigerator. However you should see the freezer cooling okay within 12 hours.
