No Adjusting Height of Wheels

The website has false advertising. The wheels are not adjustable and it was not assembled!

Didn't make it thru 2 years

The first year it worked great. The 2nd year, the motor started spewing oil everywhere. It was properly cared for. It was a floor model and they charged me full price. I hate Briggs & Stratton. I'm looking for a different name brand this year.

Exactly what I needed.

Great little mower for the price.  I needed something lightweight and easy to maneuver for trimming, and this is it.  Easy to assemble, the only glitch was with the upper handle.  The instructions called for the safety bar up-stop to be on the left side, but due to the shape of the up-stop, it must be installed on the right side of the handle.  Turning the upper handle over and moving the safety bar back to the top was all that was needed to make it right.  The stop is on the right and the cable on the left.  The previous complaints about the wheel nuts no longer apply.  They have done away with the lock nuts and now use standard nuts with lock washers, which are very easy to assemble.  The mower pictured on the website has wheel adjusters;  this one does not.  This mower is now being built by Husqvarna, as are the newer Murrays also.

Skeptical at first.

Ordered this little mower on the 8th and received it on the 10th. Unbelievable!  Was skeptical at first from the negative reviews but took the chance. So glad I did...only need it for trimming 2.5 acres. Have used once and it did great. The only problem was the photo showed adjustable wheels and this one has to be adjusted by removing all wheels. That's okay as I need one setting anyway.

Inexpensive, reliable starts, and cuts grass - great buy!

This is a great little mower, especially for the money. It is very light weight and easy to push. Starts every time. You need to press the priming bulb a couple times prior to starting so that gas will get into the carbeurator, but it makes it start reliably every time within a couple of pulls. It also seems to be a bit lower in height so it fits under bushes and stuff better. My only complaint is that I wish it had more settings for the height of the wheels. At one setting it seems a tad low. The next setting up is a tad higher than I'd like. No matter though. Still cuts great and is very reliable. No bagger, but it's better not to bag your grass anyway.

It doesn't pay to get

I brought this push mower july 3.2012 and returned it on the 6. It didn't come with all the parts and the bolts to the wheels did not fit the screws. When i returned it to kmart i was told they could put it together for me.but i would have to pay $100. what a joke for a $134 dollar mower. Don't waste your time with this one.

Great little mower

I have used one of these mowers for the better part of 2 years, and I acquired this mower second hand (it came with the house and had been beaten on by the previous owner fairly well). When I say I have used this mower, I really mean I have beat the hell out of it, mercilessly, around the entire property. I have used it as much for brush clearing as I have lawn mowing. It has taken everything I could possibly throw at it, including rocks, roots, sticks (logs, really) and it has kept going. I changed the oil regularly, put a new plug, blade and air filter in every year, and it starts the first time every time. When I finally managed to inflict a mortal wound upon this this mower today (again, through abuse, not normal use) it STILL kept going, sputtering and spitting oil out of the exhaust until the job was truly done. Truly the little mower that could. Now that I have destroyed one, I will be going back and buying another and I will not hesitate to treat it just as badly as I did the last one. Low on cost, high on durability - this really is a great little machine.
