I am tired of all my scissors getting rusty and dull. These are made of titanium, and do not rust. The scissors fit comfortably in my hand, and don't slip. I was surprised that they are very sharp. I use these mostly for my sewing products, and they are great for that. I am very pleased with the quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I am left-handed. I grew up using scissors that bent paper rather than cut it. Confused? You must be right-handed. Southpaws know what I am talking about. One employer even provided me with a pair of left-handed scissors - a pricey solution. These Westcott Titanium scissors work every bit as well for left-handed cutting, and have a way more comfortable grip. I have two pairs: one is non-stick that I use for wrapping (think tape), and the other for everything else, except kitchen. I don't use either on food, because I can't unhook them and put them in the dishwasher like my special kitchen shears. My wife is right-handed and gets the same excellent results as I do. I was looking for a set of Scissors that was a little more manly for my desk. Men want tough Shears that look great are sharp and tough. The Westcott Scissors fit perfectly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
