These guys look so regal. I have them on each side of my front door on our covered porch. We did spray them with a clear shellac to protect them some from weathering from sitting outside and have held up well so far.
It is true that these lions looked very regal by the side of my door for about 2 months. After that, the paint slowly but surely has been peeling away. Despite my best efforts, they look pretty bad now. I am continually spray painting trying to keep them look ok but it's not working. Shoddy product and they cost too much to throw in the trash. However, that's where they're going.
The item came damaged in the inappropriate box for shipping a fragile item of this size.
I paid extra for expedited shipping but my items stayed in the warehouse and were never picked up. After speaking with CS they refunded me the shipping cost and said I would get my items the following week. I track my items on the day of delivery and they were still in the same spot and not with UPS. UPS printed the labels on June 23rd after my order was placed but no one made sure they got to UPS. Totally unsatisfied with Sears who can't even handle a simple shipment, I am done with them. They gave me a full refund but I am still not happy because I wanted those statues. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE SEARS AND I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AND ADVISE OTHERS NOT TO USE THEM. I HAD TO ACTUALLY ASK FOR AN APOLOGY. SAD
I purchased this statue at Sears. About six months later it started peeling and deteriorating. I called Sears to have this issue corrected to no avail. This is a very poorly made statue. Do not buy you will be wasting your money.
