Description Specifications
Accu-Gage Tire Gauge Hits the Mark Driving with the wrong tire pressure can be dangerous, and the Accu-Gage dial gauge gives you a better way to prep your car for a safer drive. You can have the best tires out there, but if the tire pressure isn't right, your car loses stability and becomes difficult to handle. If you usually just check your pressure at a gas station, you have to keep in mind that those gauges might be older and less accurate than you think. This gauge has full-geared, solid brass precision movement to give you an accurate reading every time. The Accu gage tire gauge also helps prolong the life of your tires. When pressure is too low, tires can easily overheat and lose the quality of their grip. When the pressure is too high, your tires lose contact with the road, which damages the tire tread. Fortunately, this gauge delivers spot-on readings, regardless of the temperature, humidity or altitude.

  • The Accu-Gage dial gauge uses a full-geared, solid brass precision movement with bronze bourdon tube to give you exact tire pressure readings that can save your life and that of your tires
  • Tire pressure readings are easily affected by temperature, altitude and humidity, but the bourdon tube movement of this gauge remains accurate regardless of external conditions
  • Time will not affect its accuracy because it is covered in a durable steel case with polished bezel and 2 inches dial
  • It is adaptable and can be used all on types of passenger cars

Accu-Gage Tire Gauge - an excellent gauge at an excellent price

So far, I have bought two model S60X Accu-Gage Tire Gauges.  These gauges are both accurate and repeatable to within about 0.25 psig, as verified by a precision calibration gauge.  It's very difficult to obtain an incorrect (2 lbs under??!)  pressure reading, unless you haven't the faintest idea of what you're doing.

I bought these gauges because they have:

--  A large 2" dial with a steel case

-- Overall very solid construction, no flimsy plastic

--  A precision movement with a geared, bronze Bourdon tube movement

-- A well-positioned bleeder-valve pressure adjuster

-- A hold-pressure-until-released feature

-- Excellent pressure accuracy/repeatability, much (!) better than is typical at this price

Inaccurate - Don't Trust It - Made in China

First one was 3 pounds short; returned it and replacement was 1 pound off. Also, when you pull it off the tire, it holds the reading but loses about 1/2psi...In my case, the first one read 28psi on the tire and 27.5 off the tire while the true pressure was 31psi. Testing was done with a Made in the USA Snap-On gauge and an equally expensive and extremely accurate Longacre; both of which read 31psi. If you can't test it, than I wouldn't trust it as in my case trusting that first one would have meant over-inflating by 3 pounds. For the price it's better than nothing and it will "get you close"...but if long term accuracy and quality is the goal, buy something else.

A must have gauge

This gauge works great. I'm pretty confident that it is pretty precise as well. I would recommend this because it is so easy to use and you don't have to push in a stick every time you use it like the cheap ones. I don't really trust the digital ones but that is my preference. It is very easy to hold on the valve stem and the reading will hold after you take your gauge off. The air release also works well. Very easy and simple to use. I keep this one in my car.
