Replacement

This is a replacement because my first one was not recording the indoor temperature accurately. I have had the new one for about a week and it appears to be working. If you have to call the company there is a long hold time.

Works great until it doesn't

I bought 2 of these around Halloween. Both outdoor units got water in them and now do not work. So, i know the temperature indoors, but not out. One unit says it is 32 degrees and the other says 19. Been stuck like that for a few weeks. I'm working to get new outdoor sending units. I realize we had a very wet winter, but i would expect the outdoor unit to be waterproof from the rain and snow. The inside unit display is very large and easy to read.

hard to read screen

My indoor/outdoor unit only cost less than $18 and does what I want it to do but, it does not have a backlight and it is hard to read the screen. Am I missing a step to aluminate the screen?
