Great coffeemaker but travel mug is small

This is a great little coffee maker for those who want fresh coffee one cup at a time The only drawback is that for people who want a "to go" cup of coffee, the travel mug that comes with it is small (12oz) and cheap. A standard 16oz travel mug won't fit in it either. I knew this when I bought it, but I wanted mine for my home office where I prefer a mug, so it's perfect. I can put a large coffee cup in it and it's small enough that it doesn't splatter all over when it's brewing. Others have commented that it's hard to fill with water. That's true because the tank fill is on the left side of the machine, making it awkward for right handed people. I got used to it after a few times. Also, the leaking that some have mentioned I believe is that when they are filling, it the water is spilling into the brew basket and just running out. That happened to me until I got used to filling it left handed. Over all, little cheaply made but worth it.

What a disappointment

I was a fan of the brew and go before it was bought out by Black and Decker. My old one of 15+ years finally died and I immediately looked for another, finding it in K-Mart for $10 2 years ago. I thought they were closing them out at that price so I bought 2. Note: I am single and use this for the house, one mug at a time. Not for the car. First, they changed the cup giving it a flimsy handle, only connected at one end. It causes the handle to flex when the cup is full. The cup is tapered now apposed to the original straight vertical from before. It probably fits better in a car cup holder, but it's prone to tip overs when used in the house. I threw it away and use the old cup instead. The permanent filter design is loose and they eliminated the side vents. The water - fill lid stop broke so now I need to use 2 hands to close it. The light burned out in a year and the switch is much cheaper and stopped shutting off at the end of the brew. Fifteen years vs 1 with many unwelcome design changes. It's gone now and good riddance.

cheap, convenient but doesnt last

Bought it 1.5 yrs ago then today it suddenly quit working. No power light or anything when I tried to use it. Looked it up online and B&D has had problems with the fuses and the power switch failing early. Parts arent available so its off to the landfill. Not buying another or any other B&D product if thats how they expect customers to come back and spend more!

Perfect product for the price!

I bought this at Kmart because it was $5 more at ******* (same product). I love it. It's so fast and easy to make just enough coffee when you're in a hurry. I also love the non spill mug it comes with.

Its fast and saves you time and coffee. I can make me one cup at a time. I am not wasting by making to much coffee and having to throw the rest out/
