I love this bottle for my 7 month old daughter. Anyone who has a baby knows of what a challenge it can be with different bottles, nipples, air flow, gas, colic and burping. I love the fact that this bottle is a large size so a young new born into an older baby can use the same bottle as they grow. The bottle itself is wide and very easy to clean and only three parts and easy to assemble and disassemble. I also love the top nipple teat at first I thought it might be long, but when I saw so the baby sucked on it, it fit perfectly in her mouth. She was able to drink the amount of milk she wanted with the help of that design. I'm sure it was also the air flow system too! She has never had gas or had any other issues after using this bottle. I tried a couple other bottles and she liked those too but for her the nipple tear shape, design, fit and the flow of the milk are probably what she loves most. Thank you for making a brilliant product!
The design of this bottle is very poor, I have bought 2 of them now thinking maybe there was a defect in the 1st one. However, the nipple constantly leaks and does not seal correctly. It's more of a hassle than not. I love Avent bottles but this design is definitely a down fall.
I like these bottles tremendously. The size and accessories made it easy to fall for them. The nipple design mimicked my breast and my son latch right on. Only concern I had was the nipple lifting whilst suckling.
I’m beyond livid with these bottles!!! All they do is leak. I’ve watched videos and read things online from similar issues which other parents are having. I wish you would stop blaming the consumer. How many possible ways are there to assemble a bottle? Why can’t you solve the issue already??? I bought the whole set of these bottles because I have the double pump.
Every day I have issues. Leak all over. I shouldn’t have to feed my baby with receiving blankets just in case the bottle fails again.
Some days the WHOLE bottle leaks on my baby’s chest and mine. And we both have to change clothes. This is MY BREAST MILK.
As a busy mom this really really sucks.
I’ve been using this product for LESS than a year. Up until this point it was fine. However, today I was warming up my sons milk in the bottle warmer, went to go take it out and the bottom half had completely fallen off....as if it was sliced in half. Milk spilled everywhere and an entire 8 ounce bottle of milk was wasted. I am not impressed by this at all and would like someone to contact me about getting a replacement.
This product is easy to use and clean. It is light weight and easy to pack and go.
I got the Phillips Avent Maximum Comfort Disposable Breast Pads as a product to test as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. It was perfect timing as I have a 10 week old and nurse every 2 hours! I have been using these religiously for 2 months and forget I'm wearing them. I was wearing reusable (machine washable) breast pads before and noticed that if I slept on my side or went 4 hours without feeding as my son got older I would leak through the pads and have a spot of milk on my shirt and sometimes my sheets - not good! Since wearing these, my son has started to sleep longer stretches at night and have not once had them leak through the pad. You can tell that I have leaked milk out in certain spots once I take the breast pad off b/c it will inflate in that spot but nothing that I would have noticed while wearing them. They are super absorbant!!! My clothes were always dry! This is the main thing I look for in a breast pad and it did its job! Also, my reusable nursing pads were thicker and you could tell I was wearing a pad under my nursing tank or bra b/c of the circle shape would show through (even on a tshirt sometimes). That doesn't happen with these Avent breastpads!!!
My only complaint about the breast pads is that sometimes (depending on the shirt I was wearing) it would look a little lumpy. Most of the times I'm in a tshirt and you couldn't tell I was wearing them but I did have a date night dinner with my husband for his birthday and wore a silky shirt and you could seem some lumps since I had a thin nursing bra on. IF you wear a padded bra then its totally not noticeable. I still wore them b/c I rather not leak through my shirt! lol!
Again, love the pads for its discreetness and absorbency! I am almost out of the sample product I recieved and will definitely be buying some more!!!
