This is much more like a 2,000 piece puzzle than something you assemble quickly. Don’t expect to have your kids playing on it the same day. I’m an engineer, and it took me a full day to assemble.
The instructions were good, but the manufacturing was often imprecise and many holes had to be re-drilled. The hardware is made of a cheap weak metal that cross-threads or breaks easily. I used far more tools than the instructions said I would need. I sometimes had the feeling that the designers never built one themselves, because many elements could have been simplified and improved at the same time.
It would be significantly more sturdy and a little less expensive if they had used long pieces of wood instead of 3' lengths stuck together with bolts. They probably wanted to avoid a long box and sacrificed strength as a result. However, it’s made for little ones and in general they’ll probably grow out of it before they cause any serious damage.
I would not buy this again, but it’s done and I suppose it’s good enough.
