Received an extra 10% off buying online and picking up in my local store. Everything was well packed. All the parts were there and in good shape. Assembly took a little time , about 1 and 1/2 hours. Directions are all diagrams. It would help to have your partner explain while you assemble. I think any written instructions would have led to a bit of confusion. The pictures were actually well thought out. Just look at them thoroughly. Be sure to break it in before your first official use. It does look good when all done!! It's nice that the tank is hidden behind the front panels, unlike my old one which had it by the side. The only drawback on this unit is that it does not a hanger for your BBQ tools. I installed brass cupboard screws on the side lip ( the one without the burner) on my own. Now I have my tools within reach! Unless you have a big crowd to feed all the time, this one is perfect for family and friends. Enjoy !!!
I purchased a BBQ Pro for my daughter and myself, after less than two years the insides fell apart. I had purchased the warranty however they said there was 'some' rust, so Sears wouldn't replace anything. There is absolutely no rust on the outside and in the inside it is extremely minor. It basically cracked and fell apart! I called Sears numerous times and was put on hold over and over, they did nothing. Finally I gave up and the only refund I received back was from the newly renewed warranty I had purchased when mine expired in the spring. I only used it for two summers, and I didn't use it to excess being it's only my daughter and myself to cook for. BBQ PRO was a waist of my money and time!
This is one ofseveral items that Sears offers in various ads and it is "Currently Unavailable." Sears does not plan to restock and recommends picking another similar product, (much higher cost)
SAD ?? Sears has resorted to Bait and Switch.
I am now on my third year using this grill and it’s well worth the price , it cooks well and holds up in the elements if you have a decent cover. Year three I am now starting to see the signs of wear the lid sides are starting to rust along with the knobs starting to discolor yet the internal parts are still holding up well looks like this will last 5 years without having to put a dime into replacement parts and the igniter still works which usually is the first thing to go.
Why manger lies and still works for Sears VERY VERY Bad Service
