Me and my husband needed a new mattress and went to sears to find the perfect one for us. We wanted a queen size that was firm but not too hard. The experience was wonderful. The sales people were very friendly and after hearing our needs, pointed us in the right direction! We just got our mattress delivered yesterday, in a timely matter! Our first night sleeping on our new beauty rest was amazing!!! Cheers to many more good nights sleep!!
I really wanted to like this Beautyrest Wavecrest Queen mattress. It had the firmness, comfort level, coil count and coil gauge that I was seeking - and the price was right !! Unfortunately, quality control issues forced me to return the two mattress/boxspring sets delivered to our home over a two week period and purchase a mattress/boxspring set by another maker. Specifically, the fabrics used on the top and underside of the Beautyrest boxspring are very thin. The first boxspring arrived with small holes forming in the fabric on top of the boxspring due to contact with the metal frame structure below. The second boxspring arrived with an 8 inch rip on the underside. The cardboard-like fabric on the underside of the mattress feels cheap. The underside of the first mattress we received had a marked indentation (as if someone had shoved their thumb into it), and the second mattress we received had a 10 inch tear (where the bottom side seam was "sewn" to the underside material). Much as I liked the overall feel of the Beautyrest Wavecrest mattress, these basic material/quality control issues were a real source of frustration and concern. I didn't have the confidence that the Beautyrest would hold up well over time. I realize that the mattresses are made "locally" - so this may partially be a symptom of poor quality control at our particular local facility. But after two disappointing delivery attempts I decided to seek a refund and purchase a new generation Sealy (also from Sears) which I felt used better fabrics in its construction. The Sealy mattress and boxspring arrived today without any noticeable flaws. I will say that everyone I dealt with at Sears to resolve these issues was extremely helpful and professional. We purchased a king size Sealy mattress from Sears last summer and have been quite satisfied with it..
I should have known when this was delivered that it wasn’t for me. The mattress simply won’t stand up on its own. It has no form or structure. If you try and stand it up, it folds over on itself. When you put it on the bed, it behaves the same. It is like sleeping on a firm bed of jello, which is not terrible but I prefer something with more form.. It is reasonably firm but doesn’t bounce back like most other firm mattresses. I do not like it and would not buy this brand again.
Bought this Sept 2018 when changing sheets noticed a tear in the seam and started a warranty process and they DENIED the process because mattress didn't have 11/2 in depression. Since when does the depression effect the seam tearing?! Sears doesn't want to honor the warranties and I will never recommend buying any mattress from Sears. When I called them they said to write them So now I have to go through the process of printing all the pictures to write them!
These are the worst matresses I have ever tried. It says it's firm. Haha. I's harger than a rock and actually hurts your hips and sholders unless you lay flat on your back and don't move. Then the memory foam get's to hot so you have to move!
I do NOT recomment any matress from Sears because of the poor quaility and Ridiculous Return Polocy! Don't waste your time and money.
Sleeping on a futon mattress and have been waking up with terrible pains in my lower back and surrounding area. With the futon mattress, there was no support in critical areas.
Today I am sleeping comfortably and I'm waking up with ease. I have no problem sitting myself up from bed and standing straight. This mattress refreshes me during my sleep. Great purchase!
