Good tire for South Florida

Purchased this tire for a 2008 accord and am satisfied with the cost vs performance. This is a decent rain tire and handles well on the highway, with minimal road noise. I have been purchasing tires from Sears.com as they have a wide selection available, better than the competition although some performance tires may have to be ordered. Salesman at the Coral Gables location is Eddie Larena who has provided service to our vehicles on three occasions. He has been a pleasure to work with.

Handling Decline on Ford Fiesta

|

I've had these 195/60H15 tires installed on my 2015 Ford Fiesta Hatchback for a few weeks now. Upon installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in cornering response compared to the worn out tires they replaced. Straight line acceleration is great as they don't slip off the line, but the best thing about the Fiesta is its handling, and the car now feels comparatively wallowy in the corners. I can also feel understeer, which was not an issue with the old tires. I had my alignment and suspension components inspected at a Ford dealership and all checked out as good, so I can only assume it's the tires. Too bad BFG doesn't manufacture the G-Force KDWS in this size, as that was one of the best tires I've ever owned on previous vehicles. The Advantage Sports are quiet and absorb bumps pretty well, but apparently this comes at the expense of sport performance.
