I live in Mid Coast Maine. More than Average snowfall. This tire handles to the high side of Good. Braking is the best on any Snow tire I have ever owned. Even decent on straight ice. A little loose in slushy conditions. What's great as well is that these tires are extremely quiet on a light snow or bare road and after 2 winters, very even wear. That said, i check and adjust tire pressure with a high quality gauge frequently. I also get an alignment/check once a year. I use Toyo Proxes STII'S spring and summer. The best tires in the world still need to be properly inflated. Buy a high quality racing gauge, no $2 pencil gauges
I was able to get these tires before the first major snow fall. I live in Alaska where the roads are mainly ice and I haven't felt safer. No sliding at any stops. So far so good.
The quality of BFGoodrich is amazing, I have a set on my 1989 Range rover classic 300tdi ,they have been on the car for 10 years, all year round , daily transport and works pulling trees out of the forest during the winter,I should get another year or two out of them. On icy roads it's like a train on tracks, thanks for making the best :)
Have had at this point 4 different sets of winter tires on my 05 wrx, and for the first time will be buying same tire again! I do 20k plus miles a year in snow, and have used them in just about every situation. You will not regret buying them. Have around 40 thousand miles on them in 2 seasons and could make it through this one if i really needed to....
I like structure
the bfgoodrich ksi are used just for winter driving never been stuck or slid constant grip during all winter weather
