Better than machine rented from HomeDepot

Really good cleaning effect. The heating function keeps the water warm. Better than the rental cleaning machine at ********** at a very affordable price.

Bissel deep clean

Disappointing and returning product.. Leaks, doesn't rotate brushes on carpet and very poor cleaning. Hand tool cleaning is ok

It worked well, until it didn't.

Have had this for about two years. Used a couple times to deep clean carpeting while doing minor home refurbishment, and didn't want to buy new carpeting. Is is easy to operate, and lightweight enough (without the tank) for me to take up and down stairs. The hose was only long enough to do half the staircase at one time, but was long enough to clean car upholstery. However, the water/solution spray on both the upright and accessories just stopped while I was cleaning. Troubleshooting did not help. Calling Bissell only led to, "Your warranty is expired. Take it to a service center at your own cost or buy a new one." I suppose that compared to the cost of professionally steam cleaning my entire house, I got my money's worth, but it's a shame that it doesn't last longer. Best advice is to treat this as temporary and save money for the next one.

So far, a good carpet cleaner

So far, it seems to work well. We had a large area rug which needed to be cleaned and it did a pretty great job - the colours seem much brighter now. We vacuumed the rug first so don't know how it deals with hair/large dust/etc, nor can we comment on the long-term, but the fact that it offers a 2 yr (limited) warranty bodes well for the expected longevity. #sweepstakes [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We would defintly buy an other unit in the future

The ProHeat Upright Carpet Cleaner was bought to replace an older unit that we had for close to 10 years. The reason for replacement was do to the pump failing. We have already used the ProHeat Cleaner once and found the cleaning was very good. The amount of moisture left after the cleaning was minimal so the drying time was very quick. I do appliance repair for a living and found the construction was well thought out. The manual was well laid out and very explanatory on assembly and use. The only thing that I found very poorly explained was the use of the cleaning solution and amount. The use of the solution cup explanation and the amount to use was buried with in a paragraph that most people would miss. We are very pleased to hear of your support for animals as we also support the SPCA and the rescue of pets. Thank You [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
