It was fun to mow my lawn for the first time. It was like vacuuming my rug.

I bought this on the 29th of march. My son & i put it together & off i went. I plugged my power cord into it & it was good to go. I never had to stop to restring it not one time.. My other one, i take 10 steps & i'm restring it again for the hundredth time that day. The weed eater, edger is the grass cutter to. I'm a woman so my old mower was hard to start. I'm not that strong. This was fun & very cute. All the neighbors were saying there you go. I'm going to get one of those. So they stood there & watched how long it took me. My front lawn is big not small. But i have a lot of time, so i didn't care how long it was going take. Even with the small incline i had it. It went up & down it effortlessly. It's not heavy at all. My side lawn is smaller & took maybe 10 minutes. It was over grown with weeds. So i wasn't sure what height i wanted it on. I put it on the top one.. I had no problems, i was smiling & having fun. My back yard is huge, it took about a longer. My other side & back was also overgrown with weeds. Again no problems. All together my property is a 1/2 acre, It took me about 2 1/2 may be 3 hours to mow it all & edge it after i mowed it. I love it & will be using it weekly. The weed eater part comes right out after you push the button with your foot. Goes right back in with no struggling at all. I choose the corded one. I was afraid the batter powered one wouldn't have stayed charged for as long as i wanted it to. I want to be able to take as much time as i choose to. I had no problems with the cord either. There's a spot on the handle were it holds it. So it doesn't come unplugged. It was allot of fun when your talking about something i dread doing. I was pleasantly surprised.. Have a great day.

Piece of junk

I returned it. The spool wheel ate up an entire reel of the trimmer line in one session of trying to trim a 30' x 1-2' section of trim work. The spool had to be refilled about every 3-5 minutes. The CONCEPT of this trimmer mower was appealing, but the quality was below poor.

Great for Planters and Tight Areas

This is Black & Decker's super star among the many. I love this product. I have several tights areas in my garden that this tool comes in very handy. I have thick ferns of which once in a while I make groovy carved out paths for my cats to have fun in. The cats (the kids) love it when I make them neat paths through a lush patch of ferns. They get to hide there and it enhances their natural instincts of the wild. What I love about this product is that it works great; doesn't use a whole lot of spool. No winding, no mess. One spool you can trim and adorn fern patches like I do for nealy 6 months or more. I purchased the recommended spool by the manufacturer. We are very happy with this product. No more messy lawn mower. When I use this product I minimize the mess of clean up by huge margin. This item makes the job easier. It allows the consumer to be creative in their garden without working so hard. Item is very light weight, great for retirees and disabled individuals. I love gardening; my hands are a challenge for me. This item has allowed me to continue enjoying the one hobby besides fishing that I love so much. Thank U Sears. Believe all the postive reviews

I was looking for a mower and a weed wacker. I am on social security so the prices I was seeing on these items was way outta my budget. I ran across this item some how some way. I of course compared the price as well as read the reviews. My back yard is pretty big. But my front is small due to a wheelchair ramp there. This item really kicks ****. Made mush of my tall grass and weeds as well as the edger got deep into the sidewalk but weeds are gone.. It used up a thing of string already so yea it does go through the string but it vaporized the grass and weeds. Highly recommended
