Bought our 1st Bosch dishwasher about 16 years ago. This now series 800 model is so much more advanced in features and functions. We hardly ever, ever rinsed dishes with the old one, and expect this to continue. Especially like the 3rd rack, and the 30% extra space. No wonder Bosch makes the #1 dishwasher in the world! Way too early to judge the dishwasher itself. However, the $150 cash back card on installation is not working for me. Here is why. Bought the dishwasher on October 8th and installed on 12th. Unfortunately, the rebate form available online at that time had the wrong start/end dates. Sears assured me the offer was extended (and it was. The website clearly said it was and had the date range that covered my purchase date). I sent in the form 781-111 to Bosch, attaching a receipt, a letter explaining that the offer was extended, print outs of sears website (which showed the extended dates). And my forms were denied. In spite of all attached proof, the claim was denied because of this technicality! Now what do I do? I contacted Sears and they asked me to submit 781-115 which had the right dates. I did that once, twice and nothing gets updated on Bosch website. These 2 times, I sent the forms with extra postage for proof. I am out almost $10 now. Now what do I do? I call Bosch's number (available on these forms). 20 minutes of haggling, at times at a high "temperature", the Bosch representative asks me to send in proof that my original 781-111 was actually installed, even though the form never asked me proof of installation. Anyway, I found the paper that the installation crew had left for me and mailed it (now my 4th mail) today. I am fairly confident that Bosch will reject this again with the same argument that the form has invalid dates. And the 2nd and 3rd form that I sent with the correct dates is no where to be found. By the time, they come around to finding this, probably they will claim the last date for submission is past. The dishwasher may be great. But it is a hassle to get the $150 rebate ($140, considering that I have spent $10 already)
Can barely hear it running, would highly recommend this dishwasher. Does a great job of getting everything clean and dry, love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I have been using this machine since middle of January and it is a wonderful machin. It cleans great, extremely quiet, I have to check the floor to see if it is still running. My only complaint is that it would be nice if the machine would start immediately after closing the door. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The unit is very quiet and has performed extremely well over two months of 4 cycles per week. The third rack is very useful. Some items like cutting boards or dishes are too hot to handle immediately at the end of a cycle. Most every item is dry. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I had a Bosch Dishwasher for 15 years. When I called the repair man to come look at it which was the first time we had ever have had anything wrong with our dishwasher he said it was the oldest Bosch he had ever worked on. We decided to get another new Bosch and we absolutely love it. I especially love the third rack for utensils. I group them as I put them in the tray and so I just grab them for when they’re done to put them away. The only problem I have with this dishwasher since I don’t use The silverware basket I have so much room in the dishwasher that it takes me days to get enough dishes to run a load. But I can live with that LOL. And it dries beautifully… I do not use the extra dry cycle. Great job bash. PS I also love the light that shines on the floor indicating it’s running since it’s so very quiet you can’t hear it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I can't believe how quiet this dishwasher is. The many wash cycles and features shorten the clean up after daily meals or any size gathering or party. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
