Dont' buy this from Sears. Buy from someplace which will honor warranty

Leaked after 2 uses in 2018, when started in in 2019. Sears nor Briggs & Stratton will honor the warranty which was for one year (according to the supplied booklet). Sears will only honor for 45 days unless you PAY additional for an insurance policy

I would not recommend this machine

|

Very little pressure, also when I took out the presumably new pressure washer it was covered in brownish yellow substance.

Get a Karcher

|

Bought this to get a stronger spray then my old Karcher with 1300 lbs and I am disapointed in its power. I bought the B and G power nozzle and it is not very strong at all and spins spray slowly and not very strong! Too bad its seemed well made!

Briggs & Stratton has a Winner with this Pressure Washer

|

I worked for a Distributor in the Automotive Detailing Chemical & Equipment Supply business for over 16 years. Over the years I have sold, and helped customers maintain their Pressure Washers, because I was the In House Repair Tech for the many Electric Motor Pressure Washers that we sold. Although the Washers that we sold were Commercial Units, this Residential Model is more than sufficient for the person looking for an alternative to a Gas Powered Unit, the Gas powered ones although have a Higher PSI Rating are too finicky for my taste, I want a unit that is going to start as soon as I flip the switch with no problems to deal with! I researched all of the Electric Units in this Class and I decided on this one because of the PSI rating and the B&S name. When I brought it home, I opened the packaging and the first thing that I knew that I was going to like was the fact that the Unit is Light and Compact, it is a Self Contained Unit and it has a place for all attachments, the only thing I would change is the placement for the hose and the cord, it is a little cumbersome unless you are planning on using Zip Ties after every use, other than that, it can be placed under a bench, in the garage or anywhere, it does not need a lot of room to store it! Now as far as Performance, I purchased this Pressure Washer so that my Son and I could use it to Power Wash our 12' x 16' Deck, we were prepping it for a New Coat of Deck Paint and we were not disappointed in the least, this Pressure Washer performed like a Champ, the Turbo Nozzle is built right into the 7 Position Nozzle and changes easily with a Turn and Click of the Nozzle, the function that I missed the most from the Commercial Units is a Variable Pressure Nozzle that we used at work that allows the changing of Low Pressure for Soaping to High Pressure for Rinsing and Cleaning just by Pushing the Nozzle away from you or Pulling it back towards you! Also I miss the Adjustable Chemical/Soap Injector which lets you set the amount of product that is used during the Soaping Step of the Job! With all of that being said I highly recommend this Pressure Washer for all of your Residential Needs, it has more than enough Pressure that's for sure, I know this because there were a few places on the Deck where it actually splintered the wood with no effort at all, so always remember to keep the wand moving when using the high pressure side of the 7 position nozzle! All in All it will handle any job that requires a Cold Water Pressure Washer and it is very reasonably priced! So if you are looking for an alternative to a Gas Powered Pressure Washer, look no further, this is the one to buy! We plan on Pressure Washing the House next!
