Everyone loves thick, velour cotton towels...except ME! I like medium weight, cotton towels that dry on one pass in the dryer and absorb water without the slick, clammy feel of velour. I purchased my Cannon towels hoping for the medium weight I wanted and I wasn't disappointed. I LOVE THEM. I use my thick velour towels for "show" when I have company over, but I use my Cannon towels every time I bathe.
I purchased a bunch of bath, hand, and face towels because they matched our color scheme and they seemed like they would be good towels. NOT SO!!! This was by far the WORST purchase I've made. The towels DO NOT absorb and they shed so bad; even after washing multiple times. I spend at least 45 mins de-shedding once they come out of dryer. They also leave fibers when drying off. Steer clear of these.
When you can hold a towel up to the light and see clear through it, I mean, you know that you have a piece of ****. It's just plain disgusting that this piece of netting is called a Cannon towel and the Sears sells it. I'd return it if I'd paid for it, but I got it with free points that were about to expire. I hope that you don't pay for it.
