Chapin products are the best and this is no different. If you are looking for a dependable sprayer this is it. The other sprayers I have tried usually leaked and did not have much pressure. This baby rocks, most of the sears versions come with a brass nozzle as a bonus. This is great for extended years of life and works better than the plastic nozzle. Of course there are some professional sprayers out there which only add years of life with their steel and brass not better performance unless you are getting the back packs. When getting out of the box make sure you read the directions or you will miss attaching the measuring cup.
The two gallons is more beneficial. It keeps you from refilling the tank over and over and it allows enough air space for the item to work correctly. The handle you may have to tinker with a little to get the spraying going but does work well afterwards. I have only have this item a short time so I cannot give you any feedback for long term use, but expect no issues when taken it out of the box and using it right away. My last sprayer the handle (pump) quit work after one season, don't know if I will have the same issue until next year. I recommend purchasing Chapin product because they stand behind what the sell and the products are well made. For the price you will get a high quality product and handling is easy. Get this one....
Opened the box at home. Trigger was not on wand. Put trigger on wand and when I tried it, it popped off !! Tried six more times with same result. Glad it happened because the trigger pins holding the trigger on are really thin and probably would break off 1 day past warranty expiration.
I am very pleased with this sprayer. My old sprayer had to be constantly pumped up to have the correct pressure for treatment. This sprayer stays pumped up for a long time and helps me get my job done quicker.
Was looking for a good quality sprayer. Wasn't disappointed. Very well made for a good price. It's made in the USA which is also very important to me. Sears also does a great job of having quality products to choose from>
The Chapin spray tank is an ideal sprayer for my lawn work. It has an easy to pump handle for pressurizing, easy to lug around with shoulder strap, and feels durable with an adjustable nozzle.
I don't have issues with the handle popping out or air leaks as the pressure builds like I did with a previous RoundUp tank sprayer. I did some research and settled on this one. Liked it enough to buy a second one for other chemicals.
