I started using this regularly when covid hit. I had used it once before when my long time hairdresser got sick. I use 5A, which is a medium cool brown and I am very happy with the results. I have white hair coming in very unevenly, mostly in the back of my head. I color that part of my head first, then move to the darker areas. I won't swear that the color is absolutely even, but it works for me. Every time I go for a haircut (which is always 5 weeks after my last color application), my hairdresser tells me it looks great and to keep doing whatever I'm doing. It's gentle on my hair and scalp, and easy to apply. I hope they never stop making this product.
Not happy with the change since natural instinct changed to the green box. My hair is so dry when using it. I have been using natural instincts for years and dont understand why change something that was working wonderfully. Im considering switching to something else that gives more shine. Would recommend all of the time before the change. Not at all now.
I have used this for years and it always covered my grays. Last two times I purchased and used it didnt cover my grays very disappointed and wont buy again.
Today I tried your root touch up and was disappointed with the results. The fine hair around my face did not get coloured at all. This area was why I purchased your product in the first place. I will be looking for another company to try.
This stuff smells AWFUL! Like an old lady with way too much perfume. 25 minutes is forever.
I have been using Natural Instincts Spiced Tea/LightAuburn for over 25 years. I know the color and the product VERY well. The newest formula (came out in, maybe 2019 or 2020?) is distinctly different from the past 23 years or so; and it terribly WRONG. Do NOT purchase if you are looking for a light, coppery, bright Auburn hair glow.
Instead, the shade is now distinctly darker and more cherry red/mahogany-ish, and NOT AUBURN at all! I have used the new version 2x now, thinking I made a mistake the first time. Nope. They have simply changed the color and are trying to fake consumers out by calling it the old name/formula number. I know this because I used the old formula 5-7x per year for 24+ years. Why Clairol would change a legacy color after all that time? I have no idea. Maybe they dont realise some people depend on the product to maintain hair color that otherwise the customer used to LOVE, and got multiple compliments from strangers daily?
This is the only product I've found that lasts beyond 3 weeks, and it actually does cover gray. I'll hate to abandon Clairol, but your other products just don't work for me.
