I've been wearing Casio digital watches since I was a kid and they've always lasted a long time. The battery never seems to die, unlike my more expensive, fancier watch. I bought this model about 7 years ago and just lost it so I replaced it with the same model. The stainless steel band looks a little nicer than your typical black plastic band and it doesn't tear or get dirty/smelly from sweat. Apparently part of the watch face is not actually metal but plastic covered in a metallic paint. The 7 year old watch that I just lost had spots on the corners of the face where the paint was wearing away. For the price of this watch and the length of time that I had it, I can't complain.
