I've been wearing these shoes for about 9 years (the same pair). They're great for travel because you can wear them all day with no foot irritation and they're "soft" enough for a casual skirt (you don't look like your wearing a man's sandal). I have worn them in a stream/creek with no issues, and if they get muddy, I've just tossed them in the washing machine - they've withstood it all and still look great. I'm glad to see they're finally available online since my local store stopped carrying them. They are wide width only, but because they've got the lacing, I don't have a problem being a medium width foot.
The insoles are very hard and continually give me severe pain in the arch of one foot, a problem I haven't had with any other shoe. After wearing them for several weeks they haven't broken in at all and now I have to replace them altogether.
The Michaelene Ghille Slingback is just the right heel height I needed. First purchased a similar Cobbie Cuddler in a flat style in white over 7 yrs. ago which I still wear. LUV these comfy sandals in wide, which is rare to find anywhere else.
I love these sandals. They are adjustable, so fit well. They are in tan, and look good with the outfits I wear.
I keep buying these because I have trouble finding shoes that fit. It has a very good price. I would like for the insoles to last longer.
I bought these bc at work you had to backs on your sandals. They are incredibly loose and sloppy even completely laced up tight. There is no support in these shoes and after numerous foot surgeries, these kill my feet. For the price, you'd think they'd be a little more comfortable. The plastic soles make horrible noise when you walk too. I'd never recommend these shoes.
