Description Specifications
With its cabin-like design and plenty of room to stand and move, the Coleman WeatherMaster 10-Person Tent feels more like a house than a tent. This ten-person, two-room tent offers ample space for sleeping or sheltered relaxation. Get in and out easier with two doors-a hinged front door and a zippered back door. Its Variflo adjustable ventilation system allows you to customize your cooling comfort. If it rains, reverse-angled windows let in the light and air, but not the water- even when they're open. The built-in WeatherTec System's patented welded floors and inverted protected seams help ensure you stay dry. Spend more time enjoying the scenery with color-coded poles and continuous pole sleeves that allow you to set the tent up easier. Inside, the 17 ft. x 9 ft. floor is large enough to fit ten people or three queen size airbeds. When the fun is done, it folds up to fit inside a carry bag for convenient transport.

  • Exclusive weathertec system
  • Continuous and color coded pole sleeves for easy setup
  • Exclusive pina dn ring design and instaclip attachments for easy set up
  • Electrical cord access port

Great Bang for the Buck

I recently used this in cold and rainy conditions. During the day it was 35 degrees F and rainy (two days straight). At night the temperature dropped into the 20s. The tent had no leaking problem. I previously seam sealed it. The condensation did create small drops in the corners however. I would not hesitate using this tent again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

"WeatherMaster" not waterproof!

I thought I loved everything about this tent until a hard rain lasting all night. The rain fly leaks and water is dripping in from the roof so I have a tarp covering me in my cot but I am soaked along with all my stuff. There are deep puddles of water on the floor. The rain is also obnoxiously loud on such a large surface area. Forced to go sleep in the warm, dry car.

Family soaking wet during heavy rain

Family soaking wet during heavy rain Even after waterproofing the tent fly twice. Great tent if it doesn’t rain. Recommend using a tarpaulin over the top of the “rain fly”. I regret the purchase of this item. My wife doesn’t want to go camping anymore as a result of the appalling experience. I purchased the tent in the US and brought back to Australia.

Did not live up to its name - leaks in rain

|

This tent is spacious and great for dry weather, but it leaked when raining. We set it up perfectly, with the rain fly properly guyed out, etc. We were also careful not to touch or have anything touching the inside walls. A few hours into the rain, water started dripping slowly through one panel of the rain fly. I suspect they failed to waterproof that panel of fabric. Rain also leaked in at the seams where the floor material is joined with the sides. Rain also leaked through the end-panels of the tent, again right through the tent fabric. I am estimating that about a cup of water leaked in through the sides and seams. The real problem was the water dripping from above through the rain fly because we had to move everyone to avoid the dripping.

Great tent for a family camping!

|

we have had this tent for about 2 years now and am very impressed at how well its made and how well it withstands the elements. we live in northern Montana where the wind never stops blowing with driving rain and still dry inside. overall I am very impressed. the only down fall for the tent where the instructions but they say the new ones have revised instructions.

Used and abused for 6 seasons

|

Bought this tent for our family of 6. Easily fit 2 queen air mattresses and a playpen with all our other gear. We were very lucky and were advised by the salesman to buy a waterproofing spray to apply to the tent before first use. Never got wet in the tent in 6 years of use as long as the fly was taught and you kept you gear off the walls.

Sadly, 6 years of kids crashing through the door and being setup and taken on uneven ground next to a windy lake took it’s toll and one of the pole connectors tore out on our last outing. Would definitely consider another weather master product when the much flimsier Ozark Trail tent we inherited dies.
