i have used it several times and it has been as good or better than i expected it to be.
While my lawn is taken care of, cutting, edging and trimming the bushes and such are my responsibility. So, I bought this Companion bypass lopper to help me cut off all the dead branches. The tool is very sharp and made easy work of the project. However, after cutting several branches, the wooden handle started to slide out of the medal sleeves that have the lopper on the end. I had to tap the wooden handles on the pavement to push them back into the medal sleeve. Once, I did not do it fast enough and the wooden handle came out all together, causing the tool to fall completely apart.
I was able to put it back together again, but had to be careful to check it after every 6th or 7th use. Of course, I did not spend a lot of money on this tool and to make the price better, it was on sale. I am a new widow learning to do new things on my own. I just wish this tool would have made the job easier and less worrysome.
I bought these loppers to trim shrubs and small branches and they have worked great so far. I've used them on branches up to 1/2" thick, and they are sharp and cut with ease. They are lightweight and comfortable to use. They seem to be good quality and are a great value. Highly recommended!
Works very well, very sharp. I bought it recently so not sure about durability part
Cuts sharp and with ease.
Seems to clip well.
