I like the fact that it blows hot air instead of having to wait for it to heat up. It's instant heat. I use it almost daily and lasts about a year using it that often. I'm on my 3rd one. I only use the hard plastic bristle brush because my hair is so fine and thin that the soft bristles just make my hair staticy. It makes my flat, straight hair look thicker and have body. I wish it came with a thicker barrel for when I grow my hair longer. Works best on shoulder length hair. It's traveled with me and I even used it on my wedding day.
Do not waste your money on this. I have been very happy with Conair products in the past, but this was a grave disappointment! The barrel unlocks and falls off as you style. The power button is in a terrible place and as you style it gets turned off. The bristles are too far apart and do not grip enough hair to do anything with. It is loud and takes far too long to get hair dry. Worst $12.99 I have spent in a very long time.
I have been using this product for years. I have RA with a severely deformed hands and cannot handle a curling iron etc. The roller brush is so easy for me to handle and use. It's the only way I can do my hair. Works fast on nearly dry hair. Please don't ever take this product off the market. I keep an extra on hand in case it breaks but I've been using the one I have for nearly 3 years. Thanks Conair for such an awesome product!
I’ve worn my hair long (down my back past my shoulders) for most of the last 40 years. Got it cut and permed about three weeks ago and bought this curling brush the same day. Out of practice as I am, this brush makes styling easy.
I’be been using this air brush for about 6 weeks now. While it is not exactly as described, I’m keeping it. I bought it only because I needed the 3/4 inch attachment and thought the bristles as described on the 1 inch would be the same. They are not. They are hard and do not grip the hair well. This brush does not have a separate off switch. When it is heating, the blower is on...a minor inconvenience, but probably will shorten the life of the unit.
The flow of air is not great but adequate for use on towel dried hair.
Great price, but this wasn't for me. I hadn't realized that the "on" switch only has one setting, which means the iron is blowing, so you do not have an option to use it without the blower. Tried it on semi-dry hair and neither attachment curled my hair. Super LOUD as well. Blower is even louder than my Revlon blow-dryer on high.
