I first saw this mug on QVC years ago and have always wanted one, but did not get it until the other week. I wanted to use it for water and ice only. Just cold beverages not hot. When i fill it with ice and water, about 18 hours later, the ice may be gone, but the water will stay cold for up to another 6 hours and that is 24 hours total, but this was in an air conditioned home. The only complaint that i have is, i ordered Radiant Orchid, i believe, but the color did not come to me as the color in the picture, which is more like a purple to me. It came in more resembling the color of the inside of a watermelon. More of a berry/reddish color.
