Took it out the box put gas in the tank and it started rightup fantastic i said now i connected the hose and started to clean my sidings on my house and then i pulled the pressure hose to go further down my house and the hose touched the muffler protecter and burned a hole in the hose all this within 5 min. useage of my brand new pressure washer. When to Sears see if they would give me a replacement and was told that hose is not covered in waranty so i end up buying a new one. So i think that the muffler protector is to protect from this happeninig but wrong. It's a engineering flaw and should be addressed and fixed. Overall this pressure washer is very good fantastic pressure and was easy to assemble.
I bought this pressure washer based on my past experience with Craftsman appliances, and never had reason to complain (over 45 years, by the way). That, unfortunately, is no longer the case. I've tried multiple times, and with multiple assistants, and the damned thing just won't start. And no, this is not my first pressure washer, and as I mentioned, it's not my first Craftsman. No possibility of priming or choking it, just keep pulling on it until the old pacemaker lights you up...so tomorrow begins the fun task of trying to get it serviced. Yippeee.
Great power great durability. Craftsman truly delivered with this power washer. Would recommend and purchase again. For those who claim you stored the washer and when you took it back out didn't work you must use a fuel stabilizer with any 2 4 cycle product if not when you store it the carbarator is going to be filled with gunk from the ethanol in gas.
