I have found these old beam type wrenches to actually be more accurate than the newer styles. Great tool for the price. Craftsman needs to release on that measures inch pounds.
Bought this and the 3/8" model 47713. Both are Chinese made now. Beams on each one were off 5-10 pounds off zero. No white hash mark either on the pointer end, just a raised line that is hard to see. Not impressed and will be taken back for refund.

Spot welds?!!!!
|It was broken when I received it! I noticed that the scale had broken off as I opened the package. This might be because the the delivery company threw it over the fence but upon further inspection I noticed that the scale spot welded on. No respectable tool that is used for wrenching should have major parts spot welded on. I returned it immediately.
