My dad likes this Torque Wrench a lot. It is pretty easy to use. The Wrench is well made with heavy feel when you hold it. The handle is made with sturdy plastic. Overall I am pleased with this item.
After 4 uses over the course of 6 months, the cheap plastic "lock" broke. I returned to the store, tool in hand only to find out that the "lifetime" warranty on hand tools does not apply to torque wrenches. (while I understand calibration would not be warrantied, breakage should be). Of course I didn't have my receipt (I've never needed one in the past for craftsman lifetime warranty). Sears isn't helping itself stay in business with these types of policies and cheap Chinese made tools.
Bought this in Hope's of workington mu truck. Went to torque down bolts for my control arms and it would not click at 155 foot lbs. Then when I would go in the opposite directs for ratchet action, it would lock up, get stuck and then just spin free in either direction. Not sure what the issue is.
