Solid, Compact

Great ratchet. Very sturdy, low-profile like in the name. No issues, can't think of any reason to go with a different one

Love it. It feels good in the hands ,great grip. I bought a 300 piece socket set and this fits in with it perfect. Was $ 30...Bucks. I got it with my surprise points for $10 Bucks. It's very nice, Tough.

Big Disappointment

|

This ratchet looks slick, well polished and feels great in the grip of the hand. Do not be fooled- this is simply misleading. I used this tool for automotive work. The selector mechanism & gear froze and would not engage. This ratchet has a life time warranty. When I brought it to the local Sears store in Gaithersburg, MD for an exchange, I was offered a REFERBISHED ratchet which was not even the same model (VP-44809)- a significant downgrade. No more Craftsman tools for me! Carlyle and Evercraft manufacture tough tools out of chrome vanadium. THIS RATCHET FROM CRAFTSMAN IS A COMPLETE FAILURE AND SUNK COSTS FOR ME!
