There I was, trying to remove the wheel from my daughters truck and the lug nuts were on there so tight that the provided lug wrent wasn't going to do it so I grabbed this bad boy and we were rockin' in seconds! Big and heavy is what is needed at times and this ratchet delivers!
No, this isn't the latest, greated technology, but for those who know me, I like it simple and this ratchet delivers complicated results in a simplistic form.
Proud to say this is American made! I got it in the mail and so ecstatic to see that! My roommate is now thinking of buying himself one. Great Ratchet VERY STRONG i've yet to break it, This guy can take some torque. Easy to take apart and clean when needed this ratchet is a good American made product!!!

I don't know what happened to these ratchets! I've had one for years and broke something in the internals. I went to get a replacement, and they had a dull finish (and felt like sandpaper!). Asked for a rebuild kit and kept my polished ratchet. I don't like burrs on my tools.
I've had one of these in my arsenal of tools for about 10 years. The ratchet is comfortable in the hand and built very well.
I have several Craftsman ratchets in many sizes and beside my thin profiled one, this is my favorite 1/2" Craftsman ratchet.
