I really didn't think I needed one but one of the techs where I work said he didn't know why I didn't have one. I've used it a couple of times and can't believe how handy it is. Light and small, can get into the hard to reach places. I just used it on a transmission pan last weekend. Made the job go much quicker. I brought it into work because one of the reviewers gave it a bad review because he said it was made of plastic...guess what so was the MAC Tools brand air ratchet my ASE Master Tech had in his box. His exact words after using it, "Nothing wrong with that, I'd buy one."
I bought this tool to use professionally, and it is definitely not professional grade. The power is pretty nice for a 1/4" ratchet, but that's about it. The rotating exhaust is very annoying. It always makes my gloves squeal loudly. Exhaust should point toward the hose; not outward. The packing blew out within the first few weeks and is very loud. The detent ball for retaining a socket/extension is horrible. If I had a nickle for every time I had fish a socket out of the deep abyss of an engine, Sears would be paying ME to use this thing now. You get what you pay for.
Took forever to get. Tracking number was created a week before the item shipped. Finally got the item and it’s the wrong one. I ordered and paid for a 1.4” air ratchet that I need for my job. Sears sent me a 3/8” air ratchet. It’s totally useless and a waste of money for me. Not impressed at all with the service on this order. Sears used to be the champ when it came to stuff like this. Now your a pretender to the throne. What happened to you, Sears?????? You got one star because I couldn’t exit out unless I left a star rating. That alone gets you 0 stars.
