This Is a 5 Piece Set of Studs

The Sears Web Site is not always clear on items listed. Case in point, this item includes five studs for the $2.99 not one. I know because I have purchased them in all three sizes available, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2".

The item numbers for the three sizes are as follows:

1/4" = 41846

3/8" = 41847

1/2" = 41848

Do not buy!

|

Do NOT order these. You cannot get extra studs for them!! And there is not enough studs on them when you get the rails.

Not just for sockets any longer.

|

I was looking for a means of quick coupling holders with which I can attach home built utility hangings in free space inside my Motorhome. By using duplicate and little used1/4" sockets, I can place one in a drill press and spin, using a file to reduce OS diameter to just under standard forstner bit size. Cutting reduced length appropriately, a forstner bit in underside of old wooden chess pieces, epoxy secures the home machined socket. A simulated rail section can be cut on a table saw to hold a single stud. This allows individual means to secure various items onto a shelf or Cabinet door to maximize space usage in a motorhome.
