Purchased for the garage, easy assembly. Fast shipping. I will also use this outdoors and in the basement. The product looks to be of good craftsmanship. Hoping this will last.
This reel light is worthless in my unheated garage up here in New England! The less-than-adequate return spring cannot retract the cord which unfortunately is insulated with a plastic-like covering (rather than the more pliable rubber.) This insulation becomes very brittle around freezing temps...and very difficult to flex. I have not had the opportunity to use this reel in the warmer temperatures of summer...when it may operate just fine. But if you plan to use a retractable ight reel where the temperatures are 30 dgrees and less, stay away from this unit!
