When it's dark outside and your're under a car with lights over you...it's dark under the car. Bring in the Craftsman drop light and see what you're doing! Maybe then that bolt you thought was a cross member bolt will be instead of the drain plug! I also found out that when you have to reinstall the mower deck on your Craftsman riding mower this light is real handy then, too!
First two light bulbs I tried did not work. I considered it strange that I'd have two duds in a row. Third bulb blew within two minutes. Cage which holds light bulb in place is lousy construction, too. Returned to store.
The long cord is the best selling point for this light. Aside from that, it is a light bulb on the end of a cord, so there is not much that could be wrong with it. The case around the bulb is sturdy so I do not have any concerns about the bulb breaking.
Decent work light for the price. Holds up well and does its job. I've owned these for years with no issues. There are certainly better out there these days, but for the price, they are hard to beat. Just be sure to buy a decent bulb. Only issue my most recent one had, is the hook is missing, but they are sending me a new one, so that's not a big deal.
