I purchased this 3/8" drive socket as a spare one just in case in the middle of working on my car my old one breaks. I got my old one (also Craftsman) about 25 years ago. Have been using it very often. All 3 of my Japanese cars have plenty of 10mm bolts/nuts. It's a good idea to keep an extra one in my tool box. I'm very pleased with all of my Craftsman sockets. None has broken apart.
Replacement for a lost socket.
The most common lost or misplaced socket in my tool box is the 10mm. We have both cars and motorcycles with metric sized nuts and bolts constantly needing some type of maintenance. I decided to build a 10 socket rack of nothing but 10mm sockets and chose Craftsman for all my sockets.
