So I've had mine for a while now and love it. I have had 2 weird problems with it though... Sometimes the chuck slips and battery life fluctuates. Battery has been tested and found to work fine...
This drill is not made for medium. Only lite use. There is a small eletronic part under the nad grip that can't handle extended use. This has happened to two of these drills. The first one lasted about 3 years. The second last less than 2 two. I ma not a contractor, just a guy doing work around the house. Like putting up a deck and not a very big one and put in a fence which is less than 100 feet long and ohter jobs around the house. If you must buy this drill get the extended warrenty and save your receipt. You will need it. Putting on your sears card does you no good. Got to have the receipt. If I had to do it over i would buy a De walt. If i could find out the part number of the electronic part I would replace it but that is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack.
I needed a set of these pliers to help break loose a stuck fitting. These pliers did not slip, bit well into the fitting, and gave me enough leverage to break the fitting loose. The adjustment level on these pliers are not as good as on the higher Craftsman pliers (others give you the ability to make smaller opening/closing size adjustments), but they are still a good quality pliers at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong with Evolv if your looking to save money, but still receive quality in your purchase. I have been purchasing Craftsman Evolv tools since I purchased a cordless drill and none of the tools have failed yet.
Great drill surprised me with the torque to drill a 3/4" hole to 7/8" about 2" deep
I returned the item.Sears quality seems to be slipping.
