I got the drill only version, No flash light. But same drill. It gets all the basic Drill needs done as advertised. Though don't expect it to do any heavy duty type work nothing over 200in lbs. Get the new version if you want this compact with more torque. I since have handed this down to family. Every one is using this bad boy, wife and mom love this tool, because it's extremely light and easy to manage.
Not sure if anyone from Craftsman pays attention to these reviews. I've got almost every Nextec tool. Loved them for a year or so. Then all the batteries died. Won't charge. No local Sears and I've moved away from the town where I bought them. Bought a new battery through ******. Still in Sears Nextec box. It died in less than a month. I've got three chargers, four batteries, and a shelf full of tools. All dead in less than two years.
almost as powerful as 19.2, and holds charge very well. I have driven 3" screws with this drill and battery lasts and lasts.
I bought this mainly for the drill but have found the light to be indispensable. It is very versatile. The drill is exactly what I have been looking for; it is light weight yet powerful enough for everyday use. The batteries are relatively inexpensive so it is easy to stock up on them so to always have one ready to go.
I purchased this combo for the drill mainly, but I have found the light to be an excellent tool as well. It is very useful and bright. It runs a long time and can be set to light most hard to reach locations. Very versatile. The drill was exactly what I wanted. Very light weight yet powerful enough for most jobs. As an electrician I find it indispensable for finish work where a big clunky drill isn't necessary.
I own several Nextec devices, and these two are among the ones I use the most. The drill is lightweight, and surprisingly powerful especially for how light it is. I prefer it to my Milwaukee 14.4 volt that had been my workhorse years.
I love the Nextec LED light. It's super bright actually; I use it everywhere: I've hung it from the ceiling when doing demolition work in a basement without power, and it was sufficient to light up my entire workspace. I've also found that it comes in handy when working on cars, especially when you're twisted uncomfortably down on the floor boards working on the underside of the dashboard electrics, and really need a bright and widespread beam to light to shine brightly on all the wires, connections, small parts etc. I recommend both of these Nextec products.
LUV LUV LUV them
I bought this for my girlfriend for Christmas and she love. The drill is very light on her hand she said. The LED light is very bright, but the only problem is! It come only with one battery. Can't use the drill without using the light.
