Will not buy from Sears again.

After using it a day & a half the bearings started making noise & adjustment for depth would not stay locked in. Had hard time getting Sears to help with return/refund.

Wood attack

Planer is a very recent purchase. No problem until I did some practice work. Attached 4.5 hp Shop Vac to the dust chute and started to work. It appears this Shop Vac may be inadequate as most of the chips exit the FRONT (feed side) of the planer onto the operator and the floor. This in itself seems strange as most rotating tools I have used dust or chips fly away from the operator. I removed the dust chute to see if I failed to remove anything and noticed the interior of the chute was relatively clean of chips.
